Everything you pay for every month — and every day — in one place

No bank connection, no statements to import. Enter an expense once and the app takes it from there.

The month at a glance

Open the app and Home shows you your month: recurring and everyday expenses together, upcoming bills, your latest spending and quick actions to add one in a tap. If the total changes, the app tells you which expense makes the difference.

Pay with your phone. It logs itself.

Gas, the weekly grocery run, a coffee at the bar: logged on their own when you pay with your phone, shared with a tap from the payment notification, read from a photo of the receipt — never saved — or written down by hand in a few seconds. Always kept separate from recurring expenses, never quietly added together.

Shared expenses Beta

Invite your partner, a housemate or anyone you like, and choose what to put in common: their expenses stay separate from yours, and one filter shows everyone's, only yours or only theirs. Synced directly between your iCloud accounts, never through our servers. Free.

Warnings before the charge

Local notifications with the notice period you choose, which can differ for every single expense. Free for everyone, no Premium required.

Trend over time

A month-by-month chart, the yearly total and a pie breakdown by category: tap a slice to see which expenses make it up.

Bills that keep changing

Mark an expense as variable and record the real amount at each due date. For future ones the app estimates the figure from the average of recent amounts.

Add it by speaking

"Add an expense in Skurda" and Siri does the rest. The expense arrives tagged To review, so you can check the amount and date at your own pace.

A quick start

A catalogue of 57 common expenses — streaming, utilities, insurance, gym — to tick off in bulk, with category and frequency already suggested.

Categories of your own

12 ready-made categories plus the ones you create, with your choice of colour and icon. Each expense has its own frequency, and you pick the currency from every one in circulation.

The data really is yours

Export everything to XLSX or CSV whenever you like, and re-import the edited file. No closed format, nothing locking you in.

Find the money you're throwing away

The savings report re-reads the expenses you entered and looks for nine situations where people usually pay more than they need to. Everything is worked out on your iPhone: no artificial intelligence, no data sent anywhere.

Overlapping streaming
Four video subscriptions running at once

Instead of telling you to cancel everything, it works out what you'd save by keeping one active at a time in rotation: you still watch it all, just not simultaneously.

Price increase
A bill went up compared with last time

It compares the last two amounts you recorded for variable expenses and estimates what the increase will cost you over a year.

Duplicate expense
The same service entered twice

It happens when importing a file or adding something in a hurry. The app spots them even with different capitals or accents, and tells you what the duplicate costs.

Paused for a while
Paused here, but perhaps still being charged

Pausing an expense in the app does not cancel the subscription with the provider. After two weeks the app reminds you, along with the yearly amount you risk continuing to pay.

Better yearly?
Monthly subscriptions that often cost less per year

It invites you to check whether a cheaper annual plan exists, without inventing discount percentages. Phone and internet providers are excluded: in Italy they bill monthly only.

Mortgage refinancing
Have you ever checked what other banks offer?

A reminder that in Italy switching your mortgage to another bank is free by law, with no fees or penalties. No invented figures: just a nudge to ask for a quote.

Your expenses never reach us

An expense app knows deeply private things: what you earn, where you live, what insurance you hold, whether you pay a lawyer or a therapist. That's why it's built this way.

No servers of ours

Data lives on your iPhone and syncs to your personal iCloud, directly between you and Apple. It never passes through us: we can't see it and can't recover it.

Zero advertising

No ad networks, no IDFA, no commercial profile. The app does not carry out tracking as defined by Apple's rules.

No account, no bank

You don't need to sign up to use it. The app doesn't connect to accounts or cards and never asks for banking credentials: it has no need for them.

You can opt out of statistics

We collect only anonymous, aggregated usage data — never expense names or amounts — to understand what to improve. You can exercise your right to object at any time by writing to feedbacksr@icloud.com.

Every detail, event by event, is listed in the Privacy Policy.

Frequently asked questions

What is Skurda?

It's an iPhone app that tracks two kinds of expenses in one place: ones that repeat over time — subscriptions, bills, rent, insurance, taxes and instalments — and everyday ones, like groceries or a coffee. For a recurring expense, you enter it once, stating how often it repeats: the app works out all future due dates, the total for each month, and warns you before every payment. Daily expenses are added instead automatically when you pay with your phone, by sharing the payment notification, from a receipt photo, or by hand.

Is the app free?

Yes, for up to 10 recurring expenses and 20 daily expenses a month added by hand or from a receipt photo, with no account and no time limit. Reminders, the calendar, the charts, the monthly overview and sharing with another person are all included in the free version. Premium is needed to go beyond those limits, to log payments made with your phone automatically, and for import/export and the annual savings report: price and duration are shown in the app before you confirm the purchase.

How do daily expenses work?

They're everything you spend day to day — gas, groceries, a coffee — always kept separate from recurring expenses. You can log one several ways: automatically when you pay with your phone, through an automation you set up once; by sharing the payment notification with a tap, from iOS's "Share" sheet; by snapping a photo of the receipt, with the merchant, amount and date recognized on their own and the photo never saved; or by hand, in a few seconds.

Does the app connect to my bank account?

No. Skurda does not connect to banks, cards or current accounts, does not make payments and does not cancel subscriptions on your behalf, and never asks for banking credentials. The only automation available is the one you build yourself in Shortcuts to read Wallet notifications on the same phone: it is not a bank connection or an official Apple Pay integration.

Where does my data go?

Names, amounts, categories and notes stay in your iPhone's storage and sync automatically to your own personal iCloud account, so you find them again on other devices signed in with the same Apple Account. There is no developer server: whoever built the app cannot see, receive or store your expenses.

How does the savings report work?

It reads the expenses you have already entered and looks for nine typical situations where money is wasted: several streaming services active at once, monthly subscriptions that might cost less annually, price increases detected in your recorded history, expenses paused in the app but probably still billed by the provider, expenses duplicated by mistake, mortgages worth refinancing, a single category taking up most of your spending, expenses you have not reviewed in over a year, and yearly renewals coming up that are worth comparing with other offers. These are deterministic rules computed on the device: there is no artificial intelligence and no data is sent anywhere.

Does it work without an internet connection?

Yes. All calculations, charts, reminders and the savings report work fully offline, because they happen on the device. A connection is only needed for iCloud sync and for purchasing Premium.

How does it handle bills that change every time?

You can mark an expense as variable: from the calendar you record the amount actually paid at each due date, and for future ones the app shows an estimate based on the average of the most recent recorded amounts, marked with a tilde. If an amount rises compared with the previous one, the savings report flags it.

Which devices and languages does it support?

It runs on iPhone with iOS 17 or later. The interface is available in Italian, English, Spanish, French and German, and the language can be chosen in the app's settings independently of the system language.

Are there ads or tracking?

No. The app shows no ads, uses no ad networks, does not use the IDFA and does not carry out tracking as defined by Apple's rules. It collects only anonymous, aggregated usage statistics, which never include the names or amounts of your expenses and which you can object to at any time by writing to feedbacksr@icloud.com.
